Long Night
So last night was Gabby's first night in her new room. She was so tired it wasn't hard to believe it didn't take her long to fall alseep in the bed. Just a few tears and about 5 minutes of bum patting and she was out. We heard some crys a little before 4am so I go in there to find her out of her bed and clearly confused to where she is at. I put her back in bed and sat on the floor with her for a little while. While I was siting there I started to feel very unconfortable and started to have some contractions. Didn't really supprise me though as I'm always uncomfortable and have had lots of braxton hicks contrations this pregnancy. So I get up give Gabby a kiss and hope she falls back to sleep. Not the case! So Aaron goes in there for awhile and I go back to bed only to continue to have more contrations which are now getting more painful. Aaron had no luck with Gabby and let just say we spent a good part of the next hour marching her back into bed. Finally about 5:45 she goes back to sleep and I'm starting to get very concerned about myself. The Doctor told me if I have more than 4 contractions in a hour I need to call. Well I've be contracting since 4 and now it's 6 and they are 3 min. apart. 6min. apart and well over 4 an hour. So I drink lots of water and go downstairs to try and walk it off...not working. I guess it's time to call the Dr. and i knew exactly what she was going to say. You need to go into the hospital right away. Now a little before 7 I wake Aaron and Gabby up and we go. I'm praying all the way there please let them get these things stopped and please don't let them put me on bed rest. Well 4 1/2 hours later an iv in my arm, a shot of something in my other arm to stop the contractions and a very long morning God answered both my prayers. I was told to get lots of rest today, drink lots and lots of fluids and go see my Dr tomorrow. The baby is doing just fine and we'll just pray that next time we go to the hospital he'll be much bigger and we'll be able to take him home all healthy!
