So other than not liking this photo shoot with the paper telling everyone how old he is, Micah is a very HAPPY kid. Oh and we think pretty cute too, even in the pictures above!

7 Months

A word to sum Micah up right now would be 'grabby'. He wants to get his hands on everything (esp. HAIR) and most things he gets hold of goes straight to his mouth.

So this was the best we could get for pictures today!

We did go and get a couple pictures taken of him. I feel like I have a little man here. I love his smile!

Take the clothes off, feet go in the mouth and my baby is back. Nothing cuter!

Atlanta

We had a great little trip to Atlanta this week. We wanted to do something fun before Gabby started school next week plus we wanted to celebrate daddy's birthday so we headed to the Georgia Aquarium. We were right downtown Atlanta, the Centennial Olympic park was right across the street from our hotel. It was great to be able to just walk everywhere. The Aquarium was awesome. They have one of the largest fish tanks in the world, the kids had so much fun!

Micah spent most of his time in the stroller chewing on toys...I think teeth are coming!

For some reason if Gabby is anywhere near Micah he has her hair in his hand.

This was looking out our hotel room at the Aquarium.

When we were at dinner the waiter told us that the Children's Museum was free on the second Tuesday of every month so we spent the evening there! Not sure where the kids got all their energy from after spending all day in the aquarium...Aaron and I where beat!

I love this picture of Gabby. They were sitting inside this window and once she saw this fish coming towards her she bolted out of there so fast.

I think the Whale sharks were our favorite.

Micah is doing great. We had him weighed two weeks ago and he was still under 11 lbs. So we've been trying to get him on a bottle but no success. So I got him a bumbo seat off craigslist put the formula with some rice cereal in a bowl and he's eattin' it up. Hopefully this will do the trick but if not oh well he's healthy and still growing.

I just can't get enough of Micah's smile. He is starting to giggle too which melts my heart every time. We are so blessed to have such a happy easy going child. Developmentally Micah is doing wonderful. We are having a little bit of an issue with his weight, at 4 months here he is only 10lbs. Our pediatrician has been wonderful trying to help us figure out what or if there is a problem with him. I have been to a lactation consultant which she has determined he is getting enough milk for me. They have done blood work, tested his stool and urine which have all came back negative...praise the Lord. We also had an x ray done on his chest where they were a little concerned that he may have a disorder called vascular ring. Apparently it's pretty hard to read these x rays on tiny babies so they are sending us to a pediatric cardiologist on Monday to confirm any results. The Lord has given us such a peace about everything, truthfully I really think we may just have a child who is a bit smaller. We may need to start beefing him up sooner then later with cereal and possibly supplementing some fattier formula into him. I'm am grateful for doctors who would like to check everything to be safe then sorry. We also are so grateful for our wonderful friends and family who have been praying for him.

And over he goes...

Guess I need to start keeping my eyes on him now!

Mason turns 3!

Mason and Aaron went out yesterday to celebrate his birthday. They had lots of fun doing lunch and build-a-bear. While they were gone Gabby and I decorated the house and made cupcakes for him.

Getting bigger...

My sweet little baby is growing way too fast. Two months have already past and I can't figure out how to slow down time. Micah is such a great baby and pretty stinkin' cute too if you ask me. He is doing lots of smiling and cooing. Gabby and Mason are in his face all the time trying to get his attention...so cute. He is a great sleeper which I am so thankful for. He does have a bit of a problem with pooping, he only does it once a week...I know I'm complaining that I don't have a bunch of poopy diapers to change. But I feel so bad for the kid when he gets constipated. Other than that life is good. He's already gone on his first airplane trip to Buffalo which was good and looking forward to going on our next one really soon to Seattle!

I just love this so much I wanted to share. Every (Most) Wednesday the kids and I go to the library for story / craft time. This is also awesome and free. At the library we signed up for 'Dolly Parton's Imagination Library'

and now the each of my kids receive a book in the mail every month till the age of 5. Just signed Micah up too! They send great books that are different for each age. Here is a picture of just a few of what we have got so far.

This is Gabby's favorite right now and her last book she got as she just turned 5!

Big weekend around here...Gabby turned 5!! We had a small party for her on Saturday. Gabby invited her good friend and the girls went to get pampered at the kid salon with nails and hair done. It was lots of fun and very cute! We came home for pizza and cake afterwards. I still can't believe she's already 5...

I just adore this relationship between Gabby and Micah. She is so caring and sweet towards him I just can't get enough of it. We are going on day two of daddy back to work and I am so grateful to have a little helper in her. She also has the greatest baby talk voice when she talk to Micah...what is it about little ones that make you talk in a high squeaky voice!!

What happened to it? There has been a lack of blogging as we have been so crazy busy this holiday season. Here is a run down of some of the events in the Fry household...

-Auntie Lydia came the last weekend in November for Thanksgiving
-Bought a new car
-We went to go cut down our Christmas tree...Aaron cut down a 12ft tree as I was reminding him we only have 9ft. ceiling, it was very funny watching him try to trim the tree to get it into our house.
-Hosted a Christmas cookie exchange party for all the neighbor ladies in our cul-de-sac
-Friends over for dinner
-Papa and Gramma / Grandpa and Grandma here to celebrate Christmas one weekend after the next
-Sold our old car...still looking for a commuter car for Aaron
-Shopping / wrapping
-Got the crib down from the attic, put together and computer room moved to downstairs while Grandpa was here to help.
-and a fun Snow day here the day after Christmas

All of that has left me this week with Aaron away at work, all the visitors gone, a house that looks like a bomb went off, Christmas decorations to put away and a nasty cold for me! So thank goodness for all the new great toys the kids got because I have had no energy to entertain them at all. Gabby has also learned this week how to help her brother get his PJ's on for bed and read him a story. Praise Jesus for such a helpful little girl!
We're all getting eager for this baby to arrive. On the home stretch now. I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl kicking my insides to pieces! I put up a couple of pictures of me and my huge belly...I know some of you are curious as to what I'm looking like!

Here is Aaron and I in the kitchen...seemed like we spent a lot of time in there these last few weeks. I'm dreading the scale at my next Dr's visit!
It was so great to get snow around here, very unusual.

We had a great Thanksgiving around around here. Aaron sister Lydia can down to celebrate with us. It was lots of fun for the kids to have her here to play with. Aaron and I pulled off a delicious turkey dinner if I may say and leftover shepard pie was a great hit too! We also went down to the parade here in the city. It was okay I think the kids were a bit cold for their liking and our seats kept getting blocked by other people standing in front of us. But we held out for that last glimpse of Santa!! Gabby had to shout to him what she wanted for Christmas. Here are some pictures. I am blessed in so many ways and we are looking forward to decorating and celebrating Christmas in our new house this year!

The tooth is gone

Gabby lost her first tooth last Sunday. It was a very tiny bottom tooth. Daddy was wiggling it and it fell out. She was so excited for the big tooth fairy to come. Gabby loves her new snow white princess doll, lolly pop and card she left her. Here is a picture of her new smile!!

Deals of the Day!

So early this morning the kids and I went out to some Garage Sales. Our community we live in was having one and I was not participating in the selling of stuff. We left with 22 dollars in my pocket (we would of had more but I stopped for a coffee) and these are my great finds.

First and second we have this awesome basketball hoop and scooter. Mason has been play hoops on our bigger one next to it but we always have to lift him up. This is not fun for me and doesn't happen very often (I am Preggos) so when I saw this perfect Mason size one I was pleased. The Scooter Gabby is riding on is something the kids have been asking for since day one we moved into our new house. Every other kids on the block has one and apparently they're pretty cool and run more than 40 dollars in the store. The lady selling wanted ten for the basketball hoop and five for the scooter. I gave her ten for both!!

Next we have this bike Mason is sitting on. Not exactly sure what it is called but he loves it and now has something to ride when his sister is riding her bike. Again 5 bucks!!

And lastly I found this great baby swing. I got rid of the one I had for Gabby and never had one for Mason and thought how can I pass this up if the lady only wants five dollars for it. I have a feeling it will come in very handy when baby #3 arrives!

So that's it. Probably very uninteresting to the rest of you reading this but as you can see I was very excited about my four purchases for twenty dollars!!

Our Church had a daddy daughter date night Friday Aaron was able to take Gabby to. They watched a princess Veggie Tale Movie, ate popcorn, took pictures and had a little dance. She was so excited to get dressed up, make-up curls and all.

Very special time for both of them. Aaron is such a wonderful daddy and truly shows his little girl how she should always be treated by any boys or on any dates. Maybe he should just be the only one to take her to all the proms!

Gabby had her first dance recital today! Or I should say recital dress rehearsal...she wasn't able to be in the recital because she started to late in the season to order the costume. She had lots of fun rehearsing with the girls and if you ask me she was the best in her class. (She is the oldest though) It was bitter sweet for me. Very proud to watch my little girl but wished Daddy and all of our other family could have came to watch her. Thank goodness for Internet though and you can check her out in these picks and video! (On a side note...I hate my camera, so hard to get a good quality picture that isn't blurry. If anyone would like to donate to my new camera fund so I can produce better pictures for all your enjoyment your more than welcome!!)

Birthday Weekend

Little Gabby turned FOUR this weekend!

Gabby was the proud recipient of a new kitchen set - she got right to work putting together a wonderful birthday breakfast for us all.

The kids wanted to go play out in the little bit of snow we got today so we spent 20 minutes dressing ourselves so we wouldn't be cold.

And two minutes from being out there they were ready to come back in. Too COLD!

Mason still needs to grow into his hand-me-down snowsuit he got from his cousins. Poor kids could barely move in the thing.

We went to go get Aaron later this evening. I felt like I was back in Canada scraping the ice and snow off the car. I moved South so I wouldn't ever have to do that again...snow go away!

Sick Sick Sick...we just can't seem to fight it. Ever since we've been back home here we've all been taking turns not feeling good. So let face it we've been doing a lot of this...sleeping and watching cartoons.

This is the bin the kids toys are usually in. Funny how they would so much rather just play in the bin then with the toys. Oh well, at least they are smiling here!!

Other news that most of you already know, we finally got a new house. We close in a couple week which can't come soon enough. This has been a very long process for us so we're very much looking forward to getting settled and back to normal.

Sorry for taking so long to update the blog like I said we have been very BLAHH.

I forgot about these pictures. We came out to Seattle about a week ago and finally took the chance to get some picture of the kids up in the cockpit of the plane. The plane was one of daddy's we flew from Buffalo to Philadelphia.

Radio City Rockettes

We went out the other night with with 'no kids' to downtown Toronto. The whole family was able to go Spaghetti Factory then Radio City Rockettes. It was a awesome night...so nice to go out and get our mind off everything else that is going on.

Christmas Parade

We are getting in the Christmas mood around here already, while still waiting on word from the house situation. It was a beautiful day today so we went to a Christmas Parade. The kids had a great time, as you can see in the video Gabby was really wishing she could have been in the parade. She is so cute and makes me laugh all the time.

It's been awhile

So what have we been up to? Well as most of you know we have sold our house. Praise the Lord, this has not been an easy or enjoyable process and it is not over yet as we still do not have another house to move into. But the Lord is fully in control and we are very content in waiting for Him to open the doors.

I didn't take very many pictures of our old house while we were packing and moving. But I did get this one of the kids.

Aaron's father came down the day before we closed to help us move the rest of our stuff into the storage unit. We were planning on driving up to their place the day we closed so it worked out that Papa could take Mason up on the plane with him so he didn't have to do the 12 hour car ride with us. This was a huge blessing as Mason is not really a fan of sitting in his car seat. Plus as you can see in the picture our car was packed. Gabby did awesome on the ride though...all was good as long as the DVD player was working!!

This was Mason's working outfits on day when we were cleaning and packing.

We never made it to a pumpkin farm this year but we did find some cute pumpkins out here in the country at a farmers house for sale. All you do is drop a loony into a bucket then you can take them. (A loony is a dollar for those of you who are non Canadian and didn't know)

The first couple days we were up here it was so cold. Very shocking to our 80 degree weather we had the day we moved everything.

It took the kids some time to get used to putting on all these big winter jackets and hats. They look so cute and snuggly though.

We've been going to one park or another around here pretty much daily.

I love fall time. It's nice to be in your sweaters and the trees are so beautiful. We've also been doing lots of walking outside before it gets too cold for all of this.

Did I mention the leaves falling. Not only beautiful but so fun to play in.

So that's about it.House is sold, waiting to hear if we'll get the other one we have an offer on, staying in Toronto with family for the time being, loving fall, kids are great, and Praying and Trusting in God that He is going to continue to lead us in everything we do.

It's so hard to get a picture of the kids together smiling and looking the same direction.

So we'll just keep them separate. Mason is almost 18 months...I can't believe it. I'm really starting to have the feeling that I have no more babies in the house. (even though Gabby still calls Mason her baby) He's becoming a very independent man. Saying lots of new words all the time. We've been trying hard to get him to say Gabby. He like to call her 'babby' instead. He is very 'boy' though...climbs on everything, tackles his sister, eats dirt and anything else he can put into his mouth, and number two's all the time. Yesterday he was out of the bath with no clothes on and did it on the bathroom floor...gross Mason that's just gross! My favorite thing about him right now is his contagious laugh. Everything is funny to him and it truly brightens the day to have his little giggles around.

And now Gabriella. Who very much lives up to her Gabby name as she wants to talk all the time. She has so much to say, lots of questions to always ask (especially at night time!), and very interesting stories to tell. She can't wait for her birthday. Which she tells me daily if not hourly 'is after Mommy's birthday and then Hailey's birthday then her birthday'. She wants to turn 4 so bad so she can go to school. I'm writing this one down in the baby book to remind her in later years 'you wanted to go to school'. Gabby is all about being a girl too. Dresses are a must, dirt and bugs are not for her, dancing and singing are so much fun and done all the time. Sometime I feel like she's 3 going on 13 but I couldn't ask for a sweeter little girl to have around.

Trip to Seattle...

It's been awhile since we've been out to Seattle. So it's seems like I have so much to blog about. We start off here at the airport. This was Gabby's first time bringing her own suitcase. She definately thought she was big stuff. She did great with it.

Think we have a real jet setter on our hands!
I think Gabby wishes she could go to the airport with Daddy every time he goes.
Mason also had a pretty sweet ride too if you ask me. Wish I could have been sitting there!

We were able to hang out with my brother and his family and some of my cousins one day at Wild Waves. The kids had a great time riding the rides. The kiddie's water park was a bit cold though.

Gabby's favorite ride was the kangaroo hop.

This one was pretty cool. It was called the frog jump...all the kids were so cute.

Aaron and I finally got back late Friday night to Seattle. The girls stayed up to give Aaron his birthday cake they made with Granny. It was very good!

Visiting Family

So nice to see most of my family when we were out to visit. Our cousin Jayden had a birthday party we went to. Had lots of fun playing on their massive slip-in-slide.

Las Vegas

It was so nice to finally go on a little vacation without the kids. (Not that we don't like vacationing w. the kids..it's just not as relaxing) Aaron and I popped down to Vegas for two nights staying at Planet Hollywood. We had lots of fun just doing our own thing. Vegas is a cool place to visit but I think I like the beach a bit more.

For Aaron's 30th B-day we went to an awesome buffet with all you can eat crab, prime rib and cotton candy. Pretty sure I was the best wife ever in Aaron's eye's (I'm not really a fan a buffet's so he was very excited we went)

So while Aaron and I were in Vegas we left the kids with my parent. To say the least I think they all were in HEAVEN! They were very busy playing with their cousins, going to a party for baby Owen, park playing and let not forget the great day at the zoo. Mom said the kids were great which I'm so glad...it was probably harder on me than it was on them leaving them for the first time and going away with Aaron for a few days. So glad we were able to do it though, it was much needed for Aaron and I. Thanks mom and dad you guys were great! Can't wait to do it again!! Took Aaron to work this morning at 6:45am and here it is 9:30pm and he just sent me this text still working. He had to divert his plane to PHL as there was a massive crack in the windshield at 33,000 feet. He has already put in a 14 hour day with it still not over and this is only day one of six for him at work. So my thoughts are these: I thank God for always keeping him safe and protecting Aaron while he's flying, while commuting and while he's away from us. Things like this picture can happen so quick and I know Gods hand is always watching over him and his planes. I also thank my husband for working so hard for me and his children to provide such a wonderful life for us. You make huge sacrifices for us and I want people to know that we love and thank you so much for that. I know what my heart did when I saw this picture I can only imagine how you were feeling sitting in the pilot seat...calm, cool and professional probably!! Miss you and can't wait for our days at home with you.

Mason is TEETHING AGAIN. 5 new ones coming in...aren't they all here yet!?! He has been biting everything, shoving his hand all the way down his mouth, and yes the fever and runny noise is back!
Gabby always wants to dress herself now but seriously Gabby you can't go out of the house wearing a winter hat, part of your swimsuit and your underwear...it's just not COOL!

Well you know us we always celebrate holidays on whatever day we get a chance cause Aaron is typically working on the exact day! So here is the kids baking a cake for Daddy.

The Weekend

We had a really fun weekend with Grandpa and Grandma here. Lots of swimming and playing outside as you can see in the pics. Aaron and my dad also put in a new sliding door to our back yard it looks awesome I'm very happy with it. The kids seem like they're getting so big. Mason loved the water fountain. He was running trough it laughing the whole time. Hard to get him to stand still for a picture.

We found a little beach area up at Lake Norman. Nothings better then swimming in the lake and playing in the sand. (Well I guess according to Aaron we should buy a boat so we could be playing out in the middle of the lake...that would be better!!)

Somehow Mason always get sand EVERYWHERE! But he sure is cute.

Praying for Grandma

We found out Friday evening that Aaron's grandmother was put on Palliative care. Which means she has stopped eating and drinking and it's only a matter of days before she passes. We wanted to be able to see her before this happened so we quickly got our stuff together and got on a 10 pm flight up to Toronto. Pretty late night, but the next morning we were able to get to Barrie to visit her for the day before Aaron had go back to work that evening. Here is a picture of Grandma, Aaron and Mason. This is kind of random but if you can see in this picture the necklace Gabby is wearing it was Grandma's. Aaron's mother gave it to Gabby around Easter. She hasn't worn it too often but has insisted these past four days that she wear this necklace and has had it on all day. It's like she knows it's grandmas as she is now passing away. Kind of sweet.

So right now we came back home and are just waiting to hear when it finally happens that she has go to be with the Lord. Going on six days now with no food or water. We're Praising the Lord that she is in no pain and praying that she will go very peacefully. Aaron's mom has been by her side since Friday along with her five brothers. I also think there has been lots of family able to visit her these last few days. Aaron has always told me that his Grandmother has been a very strong lady and at 91 i still think she is still holding true to this.

New Ride...

This is my great garage sale buy... 5 bucks!! Aaron cleaned the bike up, put some training wheels on and it's as good as new. Gabby loves her new bike...probably 'cause it's covered in Princesses!

She looks so grown up on it. They just grow up too fast. I mean what's next? Before you know it I'll be posting pics of her new car.

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice again last weekend down in South Carolina. The show was great...Gabby LOVED it! It was also nice to have Aaron come this time.

Easter Weekend

Well we just got back from a very busy weekend up in Toronto. Got there on Thursday. Friday we went to Church in the morning then Uncle Adam, Auntie Wendy, Carter and Hunter, Uncle Jared and Auntie Es came over to Aaron's parents house for dinner. Saturday Aaron and I help Jared and Es move into their new house in London. Then Sunday we got ready to head home, had a quick lunch with one of Aaron's Aunt and Uncle. Drove to Buffalo then had to fly through Philly and got home at midnight. Then up at 4:45 this morning to take Aaron back to work. The kids and I have been so tired all day I can only imagine Aaron is exhausted as he had to work till 10 tonight. Anyways here's some pics of the kids.

I found this great pool at Costco so today as it was 78 degrees we thought we'd set it up and try it out.

What a day....so we were trying to go up to Toronto for a birthday weekend for the kids but that didn't happen. I won't go into detail because I'm too tired but lets just say it was crazy of me to thing we would be able to get on an airplane during spring break flying stand-by. It was a huge disappointment for all of us. We did make the best of the afternoon though considering in was Gabby's birthday.

We were going to make a cake tonight but then I remembered my oven is broken. So we convinced Gabby into going to the mall to get birthday ice cream. (and YES she wore the dress!)
I did finally get the dress off, only because she got to put on her new Ariel nightgown (thanks Jayden and Hawkinson Family) Gabby is becoming quite the poser!!

Sorry for those of you who get tired of these. I have been taking these pictures every month so I can put them into Mason's baby book. Plus, when I put them on the blog and talk about what he was doing that month I'll be able to remember when I actually get around to updating the baby book!
So what's new with MASON -
- getting more teeth (so biting everything...especially mommy's shoulder)
- can say dadda and kitty (um, what happened to mamma??)
- crawls up the stairs all the time....loves to race his sister up (and yes I am always close behind)
- so close to walking...we have the camera out and waiting for those FIRST steps on his own!!
- Fully weened!! (yeah for me)
- A great eater. Just very loud when he wants more. We have been trying to teach him sign
language put he has NO patience for it when it comes to eating time.
- got his new car seat (okay, Gabby got a new one and he got the hand-me-down one)

Well I'm sure there is more but I'll stop there. I really can't believe he is going to be one next month. I have to say it makes me really sad, my baby is turning into a little man already. Why can't I stop my kids from growing up so FAST!? Mason has the best personality though. He's always so happy and entertaining and loving. (I just love how he snuggles into my arms...probably one of my favorite things ever) It's very exciting to watch him with his sister too. He's very lucky to have someone to love, care and play with him all the time.
Anyway, here he is... 11 MONTHS OLD ...what a cutie!!

WINTER BLAST!

Big news around here today. The only programming on T.V. is in regard to the "WINTER BLAST!" we had lastnight. It's kindof funny, though I'll admit, this last snowfall is more than we've seen since we've been in N.C. All in all about 4-6 inches!

Splash Planet

Gabby has a chart she has been working on earning stars for doing things like telling us if she has to go potty, eating her dinner etc. etc. etc. Her reward for not crying and yelling at night was going swimming. So yesterday we went to this awesome indoor pool called Splash Planet. She had a ball!

This was the purple slide she went down probably 50 time.

It took Mason a long time to enjoy this experience. Basically we had to go back home feed him, give him a nap then go back. As you can see in the last picture he was finally starting to smile.

The place was great...a bit expensive (reason why we went back in the afternoon to get our moneys worth) but very cool. They also had a lazy river and big adult slide Aaron went down a few time. Didn't get any pics of that though. I was too busy taking ones of these cute kids! We're very pround of Gabby and had a great family day.

Baby Dedication

Saturday day night we got Mason dedicated at our Church. It was nice to have Aaron's parents come down and be a part of it with us. We wish more of our family could have been there too...but we understand that it's not reality because we live so far away. Mason was very good and cute while our Pastor was praying for him and us. Getting Older...

I'm going to blink and Mason is going to be a year...how did that happen. It's been really hard to get a decent picture of him because he hasn't been feeling well. Poor guy is getting two new teeth and has a awful ear infection on top of that. Today is a new day and I feel like he's finally turning a corner and my happy little boy is snapping out of it! Can't wait to see him start walking, I predict it will happen before the first B-Day.

We're having a great time out here visiting my family. The kids are very cute together...when they want to be!
